I'm a professor at the University of Florida and I run a research lab that measures our metabolism using high-end analytical techniques such as mass spectrometry. I've studied metabolism for over 20 years with an eye on trying to understand the complex interplay of our metabolism in relation to the gut. Recently, we've trained artificial intelligence to identify biomarkers in cancer, diabetes and rare diseases.
